Two weeks until the Sheffield Half Marathon – jeepers!
The training has flown past. Two months ago, engorged with the aftermath of the Christmas splurge, I decided to do something positive about my health and fitness.
I decided I’d train for the Sheffield Half Marathon. A race I’d done before a few times in my youth, but one I hadn’t done since before Covid. That seems a million years ago now – a glorious time when the world seemed ‘normal’, a time when I was fitter and healthier (considerably so).
Fast forward six years, and my health and fitness has taken its share of hits. What was once a routine part of my life now seems like a colossal challenge.
In this week’s vlog I share my journey so far and discuss how my fitness (and life generally) has improved for the better, thanks to perseverance and building up slowly..
