Deer can often be seen on Dinnington Pit Top in the early hours. They tend to be very skittish though and before you can get the camera out they’ve disappeared.
Today I got lucky!

I managed to get out early this morning, but there was no chance of a sunrise shot. The February gloom persists persists, making for a grey and misty shot.
Despite the murk, I like how the mist has a layering effect on the landscape. The deeper you get into the scene the more nebulous the landscape becomes.
Every season in the UK has its own beauty.
