As the snow bids farewell we are left with the promise of Spring. I may not miss the winter (when it does finally pass) but I will miss the amazing sunrises and skies it has given us.

As the snow bids farewell we are left with the promise of Spring. I may not miss the winter (when it does finally pass) but I will miss the amazing sunrises and skies it has given us.

We are still very much in Winterโs grip in Sheffield. Temperatures of -4 meant that driving in the village is still quite dangerous with many B roads impassable. I decided to ditch the car and take a steady walk down Anston Stones with a friend and the dogs.
Winter continues to deliver stunning sunrises. The snow appears to have transformed into ice crystals that scrunch underfoot. It feels like walking in Narnia!
Still, as much as I enjoy snowscapes, I think we are all ready for some warmer weather now here in the UK.
