First ttime back doing the Sheffield Half Marathon in 6 years. The day felt kinda cathartic. Anyway, I’ll let the VLOG do the talking 🙂

I had to call into Sheffield today to pick up my race number for the Sheffield Half Marathon tomorrow. I’ve never been to Meersbrook Park before, so I thought I’d use the time to visit, as the park has one of Sheffield’s oldest timber framed buildings, Bishops House (dating back to the 1500s).
It was a bit overcast and the photo doesn’t really do the place justice, but it nevertheless provides a snapshot into Sheffield’s historic past.
Bishops’ House is kept open to the public by The Friends of Bishops’ House, working in partnership with Sheffield City Council who own and maintain the building, and Museums Sheffield who curate most of the items on display.

Week Nine: Time to Taper
Nine weeks ago, when I started this journey, I never thought I’d get here. But I have!
I’m in the final week before the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday. The training is all but done – HooRAY! In this penultimate video, I reflect on my progress, discuss tapering, and how I’m looking forward to the main event.
